On Sunday December 15th 2013 one of Sweden’s most successful rock groups of all time, EUROPE, will celebrate 30 years of rock’n’roll by auctioning an exclusive collection of customized guitars. Each guitar has been personally autographed by band members who contributed to various albums, including previous band members Kee Marcello and Tony Reno.
The proceeds of the "Final Countdown" guitar will go to LUG (Läkare Utan Gränser) who are doing tremendous work in the Philippines.“
We wanted to create something really special to mark our 30th anniversary,” says Europe drummer, Ian Haugland.

The proceeds from the sale of one of the guitars will go to charity ‘Medecins Sans Frontiers’, says Europe’s bass guitarist, John Leven. “We think they are doing very important and inspiring work giving medical aid in emergency areas around the world, particularly what the charity work they are undertaking in Cebu, Philippines.”
